I had a great experience buying my VW Beetle at Alcan. Kevin was a gent, he showed me around the car and answered all of my questions. There was no hard sell and I felt they were honest and professional from the start. The ownership transfer process was very quick and easy, communication was great. I had a spark plug issue after a month and Alan sent their mechanic Noel around the next morning who diagnosed the car and fixed it the same day at no charge because it was under warranty. He was lovely and informative. Just all round great service from a great team. It can be daunting buying a secondhand car but I would definitely recommend Alcan to my friends and family!

As honest as I can be, I will recommend ALCAN AUTO CARE to anyone anytime anyday. Woke up this morning to drive and the car couldn't start. Tried reaching out to the warranty company but they weren't working weekends so contacted Alan and he immediately sent someone to come check out the car with a brand new battery which was one of a kind. Thanks so much Alan. Now I have a car dealer and looking forward to having more cars from you.

Buying a used car is always a challenge so warranty is very important. I bought a nice automatic VW Touran detailed and shined. After a week the Gearbox sounded strange noise. I contacted ALCAN and they inmediately sent me to a garage of my choosing. Replacing the clutch/flywheel went to almost 2000 euros. Not only repaired was done and paid for, but, more important, Alan have previously sent into my bank 50% of repair quoted charges. I tried to return the 850 euros and to my surprise, Alan graciously asked me to keep it for the inconvenience. My car is in perfect condition and I recommend this shop to anyone.

I don’t normally leave reviews and I wasn’t asked to either but I feel I need to as we had an incredibly positive experience dealing with Alan. I was heavily pregnant at the time we purchased a car, he delivered the car to us and subsequently delivered a spare tyre and when their was issue with our battery months later, again offered a free call out service. He made the purchase process incredibly easy for us and it was a great example of what excellent customer service is!

Absolutely love my car. I got an Audi A1 automatic which was a Japanese import. The car is fab and Alan was great to deal with - I saw the car on Thursday and drove home in it on Saturday. He was very professional and the car has been driving great the last couple of weeks since I got it.Also, In other places the imports I was looking at had Japanese writing on dashboard / error message screen so the garages couldn't fully convert to English but Alan in Alcan sold me a car that had full English userface which was an added bonus!

I had the absolute best car buying experience recently with Alan and his colleague, Paul. They could not have been kinder or more accomodating. I got good vibes from them both the second I spoke to Alan and met Paul. They were both genuine and treated me like a person, not a potential sale. I'm American and only drive automatics and they had a great selection of automatic transmission cars, plus their cars don't have ridiculously high mileage, which can be very challenging to find in a used car.Buying a car, especially a used one, can be such an intimidating process, but it was so effortless and relaxed with these guys. I have already recommended them to people here in Donegal; well worth the trip to Dublin. Plus, I love my car and it runs like a new car, despite being a 2012. 😊

I bought my polo of these guys a few weeks ago. Alan is an absolutely gentleman to deal with! Buying a car was so easy from start to finish and my car is a 2012 but like new! Beautiful range of cars its so hard to choose from. I love driving it. I couldn’t reccomend it enough we had been to many garages before this and there’s no comparison, just a great vibe and atmosphere buying from Alcan.

100% recommended these lads! Me and my partner got our first car and it couldn't of went any smoother buying off these. From arranging the viewing, showing us every bit of the car, test drive, purchasing it and getting it delivered right to our door!Definitely stress free buying from these. We love our Honda Insight well worth it especially buying from a great dealer!
